The new Yale-NUS College broke ground this afternoon. We are building up our universities, ITEs and Polytechnics, and schools, to give every Singaporean a good education.
Yale-NUS is an exciting addition to our education system. It will combine Yale's strengths in the liberal arts with NUS' understanding of Asia to create a new model of education in Singapore. Yale is supporting it strongly, and so is the Singapore government.
Yale-NUS will offer another attractive option to our students going to university, different from NUS, NTU, SMU or SUTD. - LHL
